Storyline: A disturbing tale about a young nun (Tilly) who becomes pregnant, gives birth, then apparently murders her baby while living in a convent. Doctor Martha Livingston (Fonda) is a psychiatrist appointed by the courts to unravel the truth.

Library focus: Dr. Livingston visits the town archive to look at the plans for the convent. Victory Desy plays the librarian who assists her.
